Our Vision, Mission and Values

Thame Church comprises three parishes serving and worshiping together.
We meet at St Mary’s Church in Thame and St Catherine’s Church in Towersey.
We are on a mission from God, a bit like a journey: the Vision describes where we are going, the Mission outlines what we’ll do to get there, and the Values define how we’ll be on the journey.

Our vision is to see our local community transformed through the radical love of Jesus.

Worship God and grow in our faith through his Word and by his Spirit.
Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus through words and how we live.
Follow Jesus to become like him and then do what Jesus did.
Love everyone as Jesus loves, as the united body of Christ.
Care for God’s creation as we promote good stewardship of the earth.
