Prayer

I’d like prayer

• Sunday morning services at 9am or 11am. Members of our prayer ministry team are available after the service for confidential prayer.
• If you are joining a Sunday service online, you can make your requests confidentially. Our prayer teams will pray during the following week.
• Prayer Tree: write your prayer needs on a paper leaf and hang it on the tree in the side chapel at St Mary’s. A small team of church members reads the requests and prays confidentially every week. St Mary’s is open every day from 11am until 4.30pm unless there are funerals or other private events.
• Email prayer@thame.church. You can give as much or as little detail as you wish. We will share your need sensitively with our prayer team groups. We will not use your name unless you give explicit consent.

Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God’s people. Ephesians 6:18

Join us in prayer

Sundays

• Pray before the services for God’s word to be heard and his blessings received. 8.30am or 10.30am in the side chapel.
• Lead prayers from the front during the service.
• Visit the side chapel in church to pray about the requests that are hung on our Prayer Tree.

Looking wider

• Sign up to receive regular news of our Mission Partners who serve Christ in this country and around the world. They would love you to pray for them.

Through the week

• Join our WhatsApp/email group where urgent needs are shared confidentially.

With other churches

• United:Ignited: The churches in Thame gather regularly for praise, prayer, worship and ministry. It is usually held in St. Mary’s. See the Thame Church calendar for forthcoming dates.
• Thame in Prayer: Pray with fellow Christians from all the churches in Thame. Every 2 months on Wednesdays, 7.30 to 8.30pm, St Joseph’s Church, Thame.
