We are committed to caring for the whole of creation and won the Eco Church Bronze Award for St Catherine’s Towersey in 2022 and St Mary’s Thame in 2024. These address the following areas:
- Worship and Teaching: including the theme of caring for creation in worship, prayers and teaching in order to raise awareness and educate further on the issues
- Building and Land: managing our buildings and land to minimise adverse environmental impacts and promote healthy relationships with nature
- Lifestyle: teaching on sustainable lifestyle choices, what we buy and use, and how we invest our money, both corporately and individually
- Wider Engagement: supporting local and global organisations focused on environmental issues and the related problems of injustice and poverty
